It rubs the lotion on it's skin. It rubs the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again.

That is soooo cute.

I wish I could kiss that little cutie!
But I wouldn't know which head to kiss but that's cool.

That is so cool. Then again, it's also pitiful. I can't help but feel sorry for it.

it sure is a little guy. but the two heads must be stunting its growth.
I know this sounds bad but i cant believe there not going to sell it. Two headed reptiles bring in serious dollars. especialy ones that are still alive. its hard to get them to eat on there own and the fact that this one is doing it is a good sign. Serious cash for something like that. and its even a color morph. insane. lol i bet if it makes it to adult hood its going to look insane.

tim5580 Oct 27, 2004 02:21 PM

maybe they are going to breed it.
is 2 heads dominant or recessive?

I dont think its really a trait more of a mutation. Its siamese twins. A freak incident where cell division did not finish forming twins. Instead of the cell fully splitting and forming two identical dragons it only split a little and formed a two headed dragon. Its not like a color morph. not even close.
and the chances of it ever breeding are slim. Chances of it surving to even consider breeding are even slimmer. Most two headed animals dont last long. But then again most dont last as long as this one has. I am betting that only one head controls the body and that is why its living as long as it has. Alot of two headers die because both heads have a little bit of control of the body. ANd since the chances of both heads wanting to do the same thing at the same time they end up dying.

Het for two heads? ROFL.... How inhumane would that be.... That's like a project you'd find along with the mutated freaks in the Fly 2 that didn't quite turn out right after teleportation. ROFL..... it puts the blinders on the other head.... it puts the blinders on the other head or to the bigger beardies it gets fed.... Ok well I'm done I guess.... I bet this either gets deleted or lights the freakin board up....

Just to clear things up for all the party poopers... I'm kidding... It's just a joke....

If you go to www.texasreptiles.com you'll be able to see a full grown one plus another person who hatched one out as well. There's also a two tailed lizard, a six legged cow, two headed snake, and some other freaks too. That'ss two this year that I know of.

thank god the mother was kept from breeding again....that would be pretty seriuos!....but otherwise....thats awesome!!!

im a wannabe beardie breeder....just 1-1/2 more years till my female is old enough!

nhballpython Oct 27, 2004 08:02 PM

There is nothing wrong with breeding the female again. The chances of that dragon ever producing another baby like that is about as equal as to every single one of us who posted in this thread getting struck by lightning at the same time on a full moon while the sun is in a full solar eclipse on a leap year while it was snowing in the middle of the summer.

InTheBlue Oct 27, 2004 08:47 PM

the cause of the two headed baby then? Maybe they should retire the male as well because they both must be het for two headed dragons. LOL

no i am not saying the female is the cause. its a combo of a ton of things that only a wicked smart pisser would know. like genetisys. not sure how to spell that one. lol

Its kind of like your wife has twins. does that mean you wont ever have kids again because you dont want twins again? of course not. the chances of her ever have twins again is slim. its the same thing with this beardie. The same thing that causes twins is the same thing that caused this dragon to be like this. except cell devision didnt finish splitting all the way.
Question for you Breeders out there. How many of your females have had twins in one egg? And how often did that same female produce twins again. I am not a betting man but i would bet many will say they havent had to many females lay more then one set of twins. There is nothing wrong with either the male or the female that produced this dragon. both are normal. What causes this is not the same as a morph.

You just have to remember that the cause of this is unfished cellular devision. thats it. if it would have finished that would have been a set of twins. Theres two heads there two brains. two sets of eyes. thats where the split stopped prematurely.

tim5580 Oct 27, 2004 09:12 PM

I was kidding about two heads being recessive or dominant.
I agree with it probably not being the fault of the parents. Normal people have mutated kids all the time.

Yeah and the LOL means laugh out loud. I was kidding also. I'm kidding you.... I'm a kidder.... What if though the dpouble heads became the standard and it was hard to get even het for single headed dragons. Maybe that's why people are scared of the ones who are trying to sell the double heads.... It could take over the market and they wouldn't be able to sell thier single headed dragons any more.
