I would say saharan and the ornate. If I were you I would get the Saharan. Just my opinion.

I've had all 3 and would say the ornates have the best temperament for handling and tameness. The Moroccans are the most skittish.

I would agree with the comment about the skittish Moroccans. I like my egyptians, however, they walk right over you and keep going....

The ornates are the most laid back, followed by the saharans. The moroccans can be skittish and sometimes even nippy. I have both ornates and saharans, love them all, but the ornates have a very easy going temperment. This is just my experience and my opinion. Good luck with your choice.

I don't have moroccans but I have the other two. I don't think we know enough yet about how saharans will be once there are more captive bred ones. Saharans are great as far as getting along with each other. Ornates can be fussy roommates. But if you're just getting ONE to live by itself, ornates are the best. My two (two years old now) are little lap lizards (well, palm lizards, I guess). They paw at the sides of the tank to get out and love to sit in my hand and have their head rubbed. They are known as "couch potatoes" of the lizard world as they get toward adults, although they can be quite active when they're young. I don't know much about Moroccans but Doug Dix's site (deer fern farms see above on this forum) tells about each one pretty well) does describe ornates as one of the best personality-wise.
