i found this huge green, winged, grasshopper looking thing..it's about 3 inches long with an ugly butt...is this a katydid??...is it ok to give it to my pixie frog or are they toxic??

Could be a katydid or grasshopper (they do fly) - three inches long? Wow!

yup..it's a katydid...the very first pic on that site you sent me too....it's going to be in a frogs mouth in about 10 minutes

hey - sorry I didn't reply sooner! I am about 3 hours from Burlington - it's quite a drive. If you look at a map find Rochester, NH in the SE quadrant. That is the closest "city" that I am near.
