I agree. Putting in a six month male with an adult male is just asking for trouble. The older male will most likely injure or possibly even kill the younger male. Two basking lights will not prevent this.

A fully grown adult male bearded dragon will not take kindly having a younger and most likely smaller dragon added to his territory. It is even possible the older male could kill and eat your younger one. Even if the younger one is too big to be eaten, two males in teh same cage can result in one being so intimidated it will not eat, bask or thrive. At worse, the strongest and most aggressive will seriously hurt, even kill the weaker.

The only way male dragons can co-habitate in peace (and this is extremely rare from what I have read here) is if they have been together from the start (ie birth or very young) and the cage is large enough and they do get along. Even then there is no guarentee they will always get along.

It would be much safer and better for the dragons to be housed in separate cages and maybe in different rooms.
