Question about sleepy dragon

dblough Oct 27, 2004 03:52 PM

Over the last 3 weeks or so both my 1 1/2 yr old male and my 1 yr old female have been sleeping under their logs about 90% of the day and not eating much at all. Over the last two days they have not come out at all, I am assuming they are entering themselves into the brumating period. My concern is that both of them have eaten superworms and greens over the last week or so but neither have pooped in like 2 weeks, I'm afraid that the food they have eaten has not passed through them and may possibly rot in them or something. Also neither has drank any water in a while.
So what are my options? Do I just let them be to do their brumation period? If so how long per day should I set their timers for their heat/basking light?
Thank you for your time.

Daniel

Day temp under basking light: 100-105 degrees
Day temp cool side: 80-85 degrees

Night temp: 70 degrees

Substrate: Wood pellets (Mountain Cat cat litter)

Enclosures: 2 Home made melamine tanks, 48"x24"

Kept in my living room.

Food: Superworms, Greens, mango & pappiya.

Nothing has changed reguarding food or housing, I have had them all since they were 8 weeks old. None of them brumated last year and I figure this is all they are doing now. I'm just concerned that they ate last week and haven't pooped since.
