Non-Insectivorious Geckos

supermogwai Oct 27, 2004 05:36 PM

Are there any non insect eaters out there, aside from rhacs that are recommended? I really enjoy my crested, and want to start breeding them soon. I know phelsumids eat both insects and fruit/nectar--could someone raise some species of day gecko with CGD? (I am not adverse to feeding insects to my animals, it is just more convenient not to. I give the crested crickets about once a week, just to be on the safe side.)

If you're using the CGD, you don't need to feed crix at all. My adults only get crix about once per month or less, and all are doing great. I DO feed my baby cresteds tiny crickets because they grow faster, besides it is pure entertainment watching them hunt. T-Rex produces a wide variety of diets for lizards, check out their website for the list.
