...Colombian Rainbow Boas are 13 to 17 inches long at birth. If they are fed well they will grow around an inch per month. So a typical healthy 10 month old one should be around 23 to 27 inches long. If they are fed just enough to survive they will grow very slowly. Oftentimes young Rainbow Boas that have been fed sparingly and grown slowly will be perfectly healthy and will start growing at a normal rate as soon as you start feeding them enough. Are you sure the snake is 10 months old? Most CB Colombian Rainbows in the northern hemisphere are born in the late spring and summer.
