I found a mite or something like it on my beardie today. You think I can spray reptile releif on him?

Are you sure it was a mite? If so, there's a lot more than one. And yes, Reptile Relief can safely be sprayed on your beardie. You'll need to treat its entire housing & furniture as well. If you have any other reptiles, check them. Mites can easily spread, even from one room to another. They only leave their host to lay eggs. And they'll burrow themselves under scales to feed.

Mites usually aren't a problem that beardies have. It may have just been a stray bug but it's worth keeping an eye on. As was said above Yes you can use the Reptile Relief on him and his whole cage if that is the problem.

I've only seen mites on bearded dragons once. And that was at a show in McDonough Georgia. We thought the red speckles on the dragons one man had was unusual. Then one crawled across my fingernail. Grossed out & immediately washed my hands. The people from Georgias Agricultural Department made him remove all his bearded dragons fron exhibition.
So it does happen. It's not seldom seen on desert species, but definitely not something to write off.
