I got him at a show in september, about 3 days old, traded some baby grey ratsnakes for him.He was just waiting for the right scent, first tried unscented live pinkies, then unscented thawed pinkies, then lizard maker thawed pinkies, then anole scented thawed pinkies, then five-lined skink scented thawed pinkies,no luck. Finally this past weekend I found what I needed,a small fence lizard.I put it in the freezer for a couple days, and tonight I broke it in half, thawed it out,and rubbed the guts all over a washed thawed pinky.I put that in front of him and came back 5 minutes later and it was gone.If you live in the east,a fence lizard is the best bet,you have to hunt for them, they seem to be alot harder to find around here than anoles and fivelined skinks.Of course, whichever lizard you need will always be seen frequently, until you really do NEED one, then they get very scarce.I had that problem with hunting skinks for a few of my hatchling red milks this year.
