eat or hide

CrystalBlue Oct 28, 2004 05:05 AM

Ever since I got Toast a hide spot he hasn't eaten. It's been 2 weeks now since he's eaten any of his veggies. I tried puting it by the hide entrance but he still won't touch it. He's got me all paranoid. I poke every other day to make sure he's still alive and he tail whips me so I assume he's not feeling bad. Any suggestions?

You might want to take out the hide for a little while feed him then put it back in.He should eat every day to every few days I believe.I was talking with DF Farms the other day about our female Mali.I put a new hide in a few weeks ago and she spends almost all her time in there sleeping. We wondered if it was because of the season change. If we take her out she will eat and run around like normal. He said that they can sense when the days are getting shorter. He said he gets alot of calls about that this time of year.If you cant get him to feed then you should take him to a vet to be safe.
