agressive behavior

gyke Jun 29, 2003 04:51 PM

Its been about two weeks since I brought my little guy home and he keeps on getting more agressive. In the begining I could pick him up and he would try to bite me and then calm down. Now when I put my hand in the tank he opens his mouth and runs and hides in a little cave I made for him. Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks.

A few thoughts, are you coming down over his head with your hand when trying to pick him up, because thats how alot of birds and things attack from above, go in with hand coming from low in front of him or low from the side, slowly, and see if he cools out alittle, and the next thing I do is JUST KEEP PICKING THEM UP, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, you should evenually win ! LOL :0)
Others may have more ideas, thats just what I usually do ! Good Luck, Eve
