White Tree Frogs/ Ok to add salamander??

VetBoy199 Oct 28, 2004 10:41 AM

Hi guys,
I have two juvenile White's Tree Frogs. I was wondering if it would be safe to add a salamander to the set up? I not sure what kind yet, but maybe a Tiger, Marbled or Fire Salamander. I appreciate your input. Have a good one!
Joe

I wouldn't do it but its ur choice. The frog or salamander can b harmed and sometimes even killed. Best choice i think is to keep ur animals by themselves.

IF the salamander is smaller, the frog will try to eat it. Also, white's and alot of salamanders produce a secretion from their skin that can be toxic to other animals, especially if it builds up in their water containers. Plus, they may introduce foreign diseases to each other. I wouldn't recommend it.
