Bredl's Pic (sorry, he's in shed, more...)

this guy eats as well as any snake I have. He is chomping down 3 adult f/t mice a week. The female is eating 3 fuzzies a week. I love these guys. I will probably breed this guy to a friend's females this year. Enjoy!

Whose stock is he? I'd also switch him to rats ASAP, as the longer you wait, the tougher it will probably get to get him on rats. JMO. Bo

i am not worried about him eating rats or not, he can stay on mice for all i care, i get them for cheap enough. our jungles are eating chicks now and i don't imagine it would be too difficult to switch him to chicks.

thanks, andrew

That's cool. If you can afford to feed it mice all it's life, go for it. My IJ is a spoiled girl, and will only eat mice. Bo

Actually Bredli do not generally have to be "switched over" from mice to rats like Irian Jayas and Jungle carpet pythons do. Nine times out of ten a Bredli will accept rats anyway, even as babies and juveniles. Bredli seem to have a much stronger feeding response towards rats than Jungles and Irian Jayas. They just don't seem to care what it is, mouse, rat, chick, as long as they can swallow it.
