FAN OR WINDOW DRAFT??????

aliaime Oct 28, 2004 03:25 PM

My pythons are kept in a well-heated apartment. Should I crack a window for fresh air or use an oscillating fan to distribute air circulation around the apartment?

Why would you think you need to open a window? Is it REALLY REALLY hot or what? I live in an apartment too and have a couple snakes also. My place rarely needs the heat on, but I don't really need a fan on or window open. I just turn on my a/c every now and again. I guess thats the advantage of being a herper is that your heat isn't turn on very often, although electric bills can go up so if you want to crack a window just be careful that it doesn't get your place too cold since it is October.

......how "well heated".........could it be........can't be over 80......you'd be too hot.......

........if your home is 85 degrees...may I suggest....?....just turn down the heat? and save a chitload of money......?

........I heat my room to 82 to 86 all year...they know it's winter...trust me....they know everything.......
