#2 Lavender type, I never seen this variety in pin dots like the classic are they availible? thanks in advance.

lavender black kings (l.g.nigra). Many years ago, Tom Crutchfield had some albino Nigra on his list. Who knows....I do know this, holbrooki are much more popular than nigra. Very nice looking kings by the way.

The first two lav. specks were found close to where I live in south Louisiana. The kings here don't have the speck on each scale like they do towards the west. We do find some really nice ones with super clean patterns and huge specks!!!

I've had 4 species of Kings, but never a Speckled nor Black. I now have a Western (Mexican) Black that I adore.)

Are Eastern Blacks just not well known, or are they known to be less friendly than Speckleds?

They are know to be the least attractive and least sought after. I still enjoy the RANDOM catch and release where I live, but they are rather unappealing to the pet trade.
