Hello, it's me again. I decided to go against the mantellas because: a) their small size scared me; and b) because I got a great deal on some azureus and a viv.
I'm getting 2 female azureus to bring my azureus up to 2.2. I found a cheep 40 gal breeder at a garage sale that I will cut down and use the glass to make a couple of corner vivs. Each will be around 27-30 gals.
Is 27-30 gallons too big to keep a breeding pair in? I've heard that if the viv is too big, they won't have enough contact, and won't produce as many young.
