Fly problem with tribs

hatter Oct 28, 2004 08:58 PM

Anyone out there have a fly problem with their tribs. I keep mine on spagnum but have since moved them to paper towels. The Flies are small like fruit flies but are carnivorous. The larva have caused skin damage to one of my animals recently. Any help would be great!!

I Think your problem is Carion Flies ... They are real *#tch. Usally come in with Crickets... They parasitize crickets and reptiles eggs...They Love high Huimdity Places...I think reptiles magazine did an article on them a few months back..and how to get rid of them...
Keeping things clean is very important.. and Keeping you cricket cage clean as possable and free of dead crickets helps..
