Help with odd noises

Magoo12 Oct 28, 2004 09:07 PM

My burm of 9 years is making odd noises. they sound like digestive or gas noises but ive never heard them before. the noises originate internally about 18" from his head. they are louder when i hold him there and they can be fairly loud. he ate about 6 days ago if this is a factor.

Please let me know if you have come across this before

All the time. Some are louder than others. My friend told me to be careful if I heard them because the snake was going to excrete something soon. That hasn't been the case. He makes them at different times. I believe it is digestive, maybe with some air trapped in it which would make the gurgle sound. Doesn't seem harmful at all.
