i was so excited to see cosmo eat her first pinkie, but when i put it in front of her, she got scared. bummer. her legs were shaking and everything, and she went to hide. no big deal, but has this happened to anyone else?

yep. Some gex just don't do pinkies @ all. I had one of my girls that was eating them well, but when one of my snakes refused a live one, I washed it off and offered it to her. She grabbed it, but it started squealing and she ran so fast!!! It was months before she would another (defrosted), and that was after a full egg laying season. Some of mine grab em right away, some have to be teased, some walk on em, and some get a whif and walk. Don't worry about it, just try again in coouple of months. After eggs, they seem more likely to take one (IMO)

The only one of our leos that would eat a pinky was our female who had just finished laying eggs. The others licked it and walked away from it. Even our big male wanted nothing to do with it. So I guess it just depends on the leo.
