Hey all you New Yorkers out there, plus any large breed snake owners:
Please check the Herp Law forum. Your rights are about to be stomped. Governor Pataki has on his desk a bill that he is said to be in favor of signing, banning many species of large snakes and monitors. (this includes very commonly kept reptiles!) The governor has a week to sign this bill into law, so a quick response would be smart! Go to Herp Law forum and follow the link to the Gov's office, where you can write a short email telling him you oppose the bill. No one else is going to speak up for us but US. Thanks for reading.
