Swiss Chard for Beardeds?

BrianT Oct 29, 2004 02:16 PM

Was at the store today and meant to pick up collard greens. Unfortunately what I thought was collard greens is actually Swiss Chard. Is this safe to feed to beardeds?

According to Beautiful Dragons website it is o.k. to feed it occasionally. It is high in oxalates, which binds calcium, and your dragon will not get the full benefit of the dusting and calcium rich food you feed him.
