FEEDBACK-HOW DO YOU KEEP FROZEN RODENTS IN AN APARTMENT???

aliaime Oct 29, 2004 02:28 PM

If anyone maintains reptiles in their apartment, how do you go about keeping frozen rodents for your snakes? I hear frozen/thaw is better than live, also it's cost effective but how to you store it?

If you do not have too many snakes that you have not had to move them to another location then odds are you can put them in your freezer. They are in plastic and frozen and while it may look bad to you next to your food there is nothing it can do to harm it. You can also get a small freezer just for your rodents. I live in an apartment but friends of mine rented out the entire building and we share it like some sort of low budget version of paradise hotel. Anyway, one small refrigerator and freezer is deticated to my animals and the rst of the people and my food shares its places elsewhere.

Pssst.. Caps lock is stuck.

Ok, my eyes can focus again. As for your question, I would think the freezer would work fine.
