What should the hot side be on my rack be for a 900gram ball

kylescott Oct 29, 2004 03:36 PM

I have baby balls that I keep the warm side at 89-90. But I am not sure what the warm side should be for the 900gram. I mean at what weight do you put the ball closer to 95. Or does it just depend on the female? Any help would be great, thanks.

Any ball; male/female, 100g-4000g should be kept anywhere between 90-95.

And Newreptiles, you are very right. I shouldn't have called someone an idiot, that is no way to act. And yes, jeff favelle my grammar went out the window today. Sorry again!!

That might be a good question to have answered before purchasing a $1000 ball python.

And the WORST English I have ever read, to date!

"All your base, are belong to us".

Moral of the replies? The temperature gradient DOESN'T need to change just because the animals get older/bigger. My babies (over 100 this year) were kept at a gradient of 80F to 90F. My adults, ranging from 1.5 years old to over 20 years old are kept at the same. Why is that so hard to see in their replies?

The pastel is a baby, a baby ball doesn't need a 95 hot spot (he likes a 89-91 hot spot). And when I get a smart a*s comment, it is really irritating. A helpful response would have been nice. Thanks

You both are no help, you need to read before replying. I know a balls warm side needs to be between 90-95. Thanks for nothing!
