Questions about my pictures - affinis/sayi-Intergrades?

bernd-d Oct 29, 2004 03:47 PM

Hello together,

here I have some pictures of my animals, wich were bought from USA as c.b. 1,1 bullsnakes.

Now they are 2 years old, became pretty - and have so little of sayi. Most of the scalation, coloration and pattern for me looks like affinis.

What do you think, please? Do you see any influence of sayi? Are those maybe "West Texas beauties"? or what else?

Thank you.

Bernd from Germany

... they look very affinis to me, with the exception that in the last pic, the rostral looks fairly long for a pure Sonoran(but certainly not as long as pure Bull either), so there could be some Bull in there, but I'd say not much if any. Nice lookers in any case.

I had ideas in the same way, but you are 4000 miles nearer to the habits of our lovelies than me. Here we know not many snake lacals...
So the expected babies of next year would be named -affinis-

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
