Very nice size and weight. You can just barely see it in the photo, but the interesting thing about large anacondas is the convex shape their scales develop. When they get up around 10 feet their scales begin to take on a convex shape that gives them a beaded feeling when you run your hand across their skin. The larger they get over 10 feet, the more convex and beaded the scales become. On a 14 or 15 footer it is really amazing. It is probably an adaptation to help them move through the water more efficiently. Thanks for re-posting a great photo.

Thanks for posting the pics for us! We have not used that photo account in so long that we cannot remember the password so we can update the photo's of Annie. She is in the neighborhood of 15-16 feet and must be over 200 pounds by now. Its very difficult to tell as we dont get a chance to get her out that often even as tame as she is. I have more pics showing her full body and as soon as I can recall the password to our photo account I will post them.
