First you have to have good parents to get good babies you cant take a $30 albino and get a $1000 dollar baby (with out having a genetic miracle ) its all selective breeding. That in some cases takes years to prefect. hybino (ray Hine line), sunglow (urban gecko line), and hyglow (a&m gecko line).
what all of these really are names given to sometimes the same and other times very different animals and ways of getting the same end result. I will try to tell you what I know about each of them. And this is by no means set in stone and is up to any other insight.
hybinos (ray hine line)are when you cross a super hypo carrot tail to an albino which in my opinion and allot of other peoples is that it came from ray hine no matter were you get them cause in the end he is the one that really refined the carrot tail Leos to begin with and if you talk to people that have actual hybinos most of there stock is actually from ray hine. so in the end a true hybino is just an albino super hypo carrot tail (true super hypo carrot tails are a yellowish body with orange on the base of the tail in talking over 30 % at least (depending who you talk to) but in the end the orange has to be completely around the base of the tail. if you go to http://www.tainoreptiles.com you can see some true hybinos.
sunglows: are from urban gecko which what they did was take the hybino one step further and added the tangerine so really what a sunglow is. is a super hypo tangerine carrot tail albino. For more info on them just go to urbangecko.com and any questions im sure they can answer them for you. I personally had called them and they were very nice and told me how they did it and like any thing else it took time there was years that went into it.
last is the new hyglow by A&M geckos which is unlike the rest. cause A&M has 2 ways of getting them. the first way is a tangerine (shtct) to a tangerine albino and the other is selectively breeding tangerine albinos to get albinos with less and less white if you go to his website it will explain it more and in better detail. he is also working on giant forms of them along with red racing striped giant albinos and giant hyglow. A&M geckos in my opinion is at the leading edge of these albinos at this time as far as tremper albinos go and to the point of what has been seen yet (its hard to say what breeders have that just aren’t showing anyone at this time because of the premiers to the world). In my opinion A&M can only be beat by the man that first founded the albino Ron tremper and im sure Ron has some things up his sleeve for us that will blow us away its just when and how much they will be with such talks of the blue albinos. but I do believe that great thanks are in order for the breeders that work hard to give all of us what we have dreams about. and this was just touching on tremper albinos. thanks to people like kelli from hisss we will soon see unreal stuff from the other two lines as well only time will tell what leos will look like in the future just remember any color and any pattern can happen its just a matter of time before it dose.
as far as your questionsthe main thing about getting hybino/sunglow/hyglow is realy good parents so it all goes back to highly selective breeding you cant start with just a hypo and an albino and get hybino i would sugest starting with the cream of the crop parents to do it right and get a good resault in the end cause we all know that the amount of orange/red is a line breed thing so you have to have both parent already haveing alot of it if you look on the classified adds you can see that the ones that look normal that are suppose to be het for hybino or an albino x with a super hypo is crap i have seen the hets that a&m has and they look like shtct not normals. so dont start with bad hets. the hets should have alot of orange too. if not i dont think that you are going to get realy nice hybino/sunglow/hyglow.
