Dusky Pigmy Picture

SalS Oct 30, 2004 12:01 AM

There hasn't been many snake pictures lately so I thought I'd post one of my little pig! This is a very calm Dusky Pigmy rattlesnake. Even though it looks like he is, he really isn't rattling. It appears he still has his button too so I'm guessing he's probably less than a year old, or close too.

This is a great snake. I was a bit worried about getting one that was really "bitey" and didn't sit on the hook well or was a bad feeder. He sits very will, doesn't strike at all and took defrosted pinkies after having him a couple of weeks.

Just incase it crossed your mind, despite his calm nature, I ONLY hook him. It works, no reason to do anything else.

Just thought I'd share this.
