Chameleon Not Eating...

lil_frogger2 Oct 30, 2004 01:15 AM

My chameleon recentely had two babies..but they weren't alive. Ever since then, she hasnt been eating and she's getting kind of skinny. I'm going to call the vet on monday. I know you can syringe feed them, I'm thinking about trying that, what should i feed her fromt he syringe? Thanks.

Try and mix some baby food (mine likes sweet potato, but you may have to try a few) mixed with a tiny bit of calcium and some water to make it just thin enough to get in the syringe. I wouldn't suggest doing this long term, but it may help give her back a little strength until you can get her into the vet.
When she had babies what doyou mean? Did she only lay a few eggs? How has she been acting? She may have more eggs inside of her still... I would strongly suggest getting to a vet asap (which i know you said, i'm not trying to be an ass!!).
