Something that aggravates me is when I see an ad for something but I'm not at home so I don't write down the info and then when I (eventually) get home (late) and check for the ad so I can buy it I find that its no longer even listed! Where do these ad go to????
There was an ad for pairs of speckled (I think) kingsnakes advertised from a guy in Indiana with a phone area code of 812 that I was going to call about right away (well, in the morning anyway) but now the ad isn't even there! Rassin frassin!

One of the features on the Classifieds allows the poster to remove an ad. If a person posts an ad and then gets a "sold" response, then he might remove the ad to prevent more inquiries on snakes that are no longer available. That is what sounds like happened to you. You snooze - you lose.
