Ball pythons can go for months without eating. My ball python just started eating after 2 1/2 months and this was the second time this year it stopped eating. It didn't eat for 5 1/2 months total this year, so far. Some stop eating for 6 months or more. Keep offering food weekly and keep fresh water available and make sure humidity and temps are in range. Weigh the snake so that you can judge any significant weight lose. I wouldn't worry about weight lose until its loses about 1/4-1/3 of its total. I don't think force feeding is a good idea. It stresses the snake too much.

she's going to die.....6 weeks without food..oh my....you are a bad herper..you shouldn't have ball pythons....bad Chad ,Bad....

you should have stuck with the 75 elapids you had......the mambas and cobras were much heartier....and the death adders more friendly........even that taipan was more timid than a wild ball........

actually ......the king was pretty mellow.....while you petted his head.....little baby he was........

having fun?........LOL

oh.....give the ball to me...I'll give it a gerbil scented with Peromyscus..........

You may get the Peromyscous feeder girl, but I can't seem to convince myself to let her go yet (keep thinking she will eat something else as soon as we move her). I will take her for a ride in the car & switch her spot in the rack & see if she will go.

What does the 12 days and counting mean?

jyohe Oct 30, 2004 10:01 PM

..has to do with middlemen, high end morphs, borrowed sperm, and a crapper load of stuff months later......actually it's a "well known" secret.........and it should have stayed that way......and they would be happier......and richer.......but I had nothing to do with it..........

you got a spider I can borrow for a week for pics?....LOL

i would try heating the cage up a few more degrees.it could be stress or nervous .do you have a hide box for the snake to feel comfortable?
