New Females Oh, and bachman. You were right!

I just bought these two very normal girls. The first is 1650g and the second is around 1350g. I'm very excited because I will take my stab at breeding them now. I have all of the ingredience now to see if I am a decent chef.
bachman, I was definatley wrong about the whole color issue with my "normal but pretty girl" from the post a couple of days ago. The girl I bought today has very similar patterns on part of her and you can kind of see a hint of orange. Therefore, and I rarely do this, you were right. I appologize again for being snippy. Hope all is well with everyone. I can't wait to breed these guys.

I've got a very busy female that came from Pete Kahl, and she was super orange as a hatchling, and now she is the darkest Ball I got, but still very nice (one of my favorite normals). Mine still has a few specks of orange in her as well. Most of my busy patterned Balls have a normal ventral surface, but the above mentioned female has a super amount of pattern on her belly (probably like a spot-nosed belly).

Good luck, you will get some nice babies out of them, and hopefully some will keep a nice bright color. If everybody was breeding for super colored normals, it would probably be common for an adult to have its juv colors, but there are way too many morphs for most people to even want to try and do that (not enough $$ to be made).

I agree. I was never going to breed her but thought it would be a great female to breed to my pastel male. We'll see.
