Omaha, Neb.: A woman who reported being bitten by a snake Thursday night was apparently mistaken.
The woman made a call to police from the Hy-Vee at 95th and Q streets, telling a 911 operator she had been bitten by a python at her father-in-law's home.
When police arrived, they recognized the woman and asked her if she had taken her medications. She was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

Omaha, Neb.: A woman was taken to a hospital Thursday night after she said she was bitten by a large snake.
Just before 9 p.m., a rescue squad was sent to the parking lot of the Hy-Vee at 97th and Q streets. A 911 operator said a woman called and said she had been bitten on the neck by a python. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
