Fecal Matter Test Question

I am bringing 5 of my BP to the vet to have their fecal matter checked. How long can I save their waste for the vet to be able to check it? Aslo, what is an average price for it?

I usually store the sample in a ziploc bag with a moist paper towel and refrigerate it for up to two days before having the actual flotation done.

For a single flotation I think it's around $15 ... I usually get a discount for multiples.
