Do females grow faster??

CDP75 Oct 30, 2004 08:19 PM

I have 2 false map turtles that I got a month and 1/2 ago. One is already alot bigger than the other one.
I know it's not getting more food than the other one b/c I watch the whole time they eat and drop the same amount for eachone.
It's making me wonder if females grow faster?
Anyone know?

It is normal for 2 turtles kept in the same manner to grow differently. Females don't grow any faster than males. Just like people, turtles grow differently.
