PICS OF SULFER LAVENDER BROOKS HATCHED TWO MONTHS AGO

bluerosy Oct 30, 2004 11:06 PM

These are some of the first clutch of Sulfer Lavenders that hatched out two months ago. Compare with the pic of the Sulfer lavenders hatched out yesterday 10-29-04.

What difference does two months make? A lot more orange.

The Extreme lavender line need a double het snow breeding to produce the high red/oranges. This line does not.

Nice. What are the sulfur line origins??? Intense oranges too.
Man, that last one, with it's square saddles looks like an amel corn. Lots of cool looks there.

That one with the saddles was the only one that came out like that.

I don't know their exact origins. I know that Len/ken Krysco had them and also Mike Falcon. I have also seen Mark Bell advertise a sulfer line.

I do know they are a extreme yellow phenotype. However they are not hypomelanistic. The first time I saw one was at the Tampa show about 10 years ago. Len Krysco had an adult behind his table and pulled it out to show everybody. Needless to say everyones tongues were hanging to the floor.

I was wondering thanks. there were a few collected back when from s. Hillsborough Co. that were called "dream kings" and were very yellow as well.
