looking for info

I soon will be getting a 250 gallon tank (6ftx30inx30in i think)from some friends and am considering seting it up for a pair of(or even just one) basilisks. I know it will probably be too big for a juvenile...but is this sufficient for an adult or two? Also, I seem to be having trouble finding any good books about them, any suggestions?

i would not recommend putting basilisks in an aquarium at all they are very skittish and will not feel secure from being looked in from all sides and you will more then likely have trouble with them rubbing their snout. for 1 basilisk i would recommend minimum 250 gallons and certainly not a cage thats an aquarium.

Thanks for the advice. That's why I was looking for information early (I won't be setting this tank up for at least a year). I'll keep looking for someone better suited for the environment.
