ultrasonic humidifier system pics and instructions

i got this humidifier from walmart for 34$ the outlet fits a 1/2 inch pvc coupling perfectly. then just stick the length of pipe in and it stays very well. no need to glue, the fit is perfect and it doesnt leak on the way to the tank. just make sure there is no low spots in your plumbing where condensation could pool and water would be trapped. its ok if the condensation leaks back into the humidifier. as you can see i have very little downpipe after the bend so as to keep the dripping into the enclosure to a minimum. i have it on a low setting coming on for an hour every three via a timer. it keeps my red eyed tree frog between 75 and 90 % humidity and the whole set up was 40 $

Very nice. Is that really 0.5" pipe? It looks more like 2.5".

Regardless, these setups work very well. There's a similar brand that takes two runs of 5/8" aquarium tubing. Just a bit easier for fogging multiple terraria.

Is the background on that tank a combination of foam and cork?
