Well, it seems Tobias can't eat waxworms...

Yesterday on the way home from the vet he ate one, then vomitted. Today while we were all out basking in the sunlight, he ate one, and vomitted up everything- His medicine, the worm, and the baby food. I'm hoping it's just the worm's doing it, and not food in general. He kept the baby food down yesterday and loved it. I've been giving him 1mL through a syringe. Too much? Too little?

I'm going to dump the sand out of their tank tonight, hopefully, is my dad can help me lift the tank. I got a cleaner for reptariums, so I'm going to sanitize it real well and put down paper towels. Sound good?

By the way, happy halloween. =]

i am by no means an expert at this so i am just throwing out an idea.
i know that in humans, if they have been starving for a while, you cannot just feed them whatever. like it has to be mushy simple gruel type stuff. like a steak dinner could make them sick or kill them or something. so maybe since he has not been eating properly for a while he needs the same kind of treatment. i would say if he was keeping down the baby food then go with that for a while because throwing up food is not going to help him gain weight. just my little opinion.

in a blender (dont look) just add the baby food and blend. He will ge the benifits of the worms also but in a nice liquified and easier to digest version!

Just an option kido, good luck with him. Your doing GOOD!

Hey, that's a REALLY good idea! We even have a special small blender for our cat, because she has no teeth and we grind up her hard food and mix it with wet. I can definitely stomach that.

And thanks for the positive reinforcement! I'm determined to make them live!

Thank you, that really does mean a lot. I'm hoping this will break the bad-luck chain.
