Yesterday I found Tut, my 2 1/2 year old Egyptian, snoozing near the basking lamp in this position. The flash disturbed him, causing him to slide down the rock & settling in a more horizontal position. Crazy tortoise!

My Golden Greek gets himself into some weird positions too. One day he had his right arm out and his head laying on that arm. They must really like to stretch out don't they?
