You would benefit yourself, and the frogs you are feeding, to use this frogs as scent source for rodents. Please reconsider your position on feeding your Hognose, and use your frogs to scent mice.

You will benefit your Eastern hognose if you feed it natural prey (and often). Their natural prey is overwhelmingly frogs and toads. Shane
I have ALWAYS pointed out that in most aspects of herpetoculture, using the reasoning that you should do what is natural for the animal, does not usually hold correct for animals in captivity. In this case if one wanted to argue that a natural diet was most appropriate, one can also argue that a snake does not behave naturally when they're in four glass walls and free from natural selection.
