where to send boa for test for IBD?

hey, ive got a snake that may have died of IBD and i run a herp rescue, i want to send him off for testing to be sure so i can be aware with future rescues.
my local exotic vet is only in the office part time, i have left him a message, but this boy died today and so as soon as i can i need to get him sent off.
thanks for any info
sorry if you see this on other forums, i just need any ideas

You really need for your vet to collect the appropriate tissue samples to send off. You can put the snake in the refrigerator for a day or two, but don't freeze it. Freezing makes it very difficult to perform the cytology that is necessary. Your vet can actually examine the specimens himself if he wants to. The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine will also perform the tests. Dr. Jacobson in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences is conducting the research into IBD.
