supplements

We are about to order crickets online from http://www.portcreditpets.com/ since our resourses are limited here on Prince Edward Island Canada. And in all of our pet stores in our biggest (which isn't that big) city, they don't carry any supplements except t-Rex calcuim. Now I know he should have a d3 supplement and something called Miner all, I just wanted to know what exactly we should be using, and which brands are preferred by other cham owners. So, when we order our crickets online we can get the proper things to make Roan happy and healthy.

Thanks

Minerall is fine. There are 2 forms. If he's indoors under UV lighting he'll need the form with added D3. You can overdose this once he's completely grown, so cut back to about once a week. BUT, you will need a vitamin source too. Depending on what gutload recipe you decide to use (the recipe on www.adcham.com is really the best) you may not need much, but occasional vitamin dusting is a good idea...about twice a month. You may have trouble getting all the ingredients for the adcham gutload, so a good commercially produced option is from WalkAbout Farms (www.herpnutrition.com). There are different formulas for different species. If he's a panther or veiled you would want the "lowland radiant" formula. They also make a complimentary dust that works with the gutload.
