Well I went out today on what began as another unsuccessful snake hunt. I walked nearly 5 miles without seeing anything except for a six-lined racerunner and a green anole eating a dragon-fly with its wings hanging out the side of its mouth. Now it was a little after 4 o'clock so i decided to go eat something. Then on the way back I saw an interesting road and turned down it. The road was bordering a tree farm and there was a canal in between the dirt road and the trees. I got out of the car and started walking. 15 minutes later and there's a pygmy all sprawled out in front of me. 5 minutes later and another. The battery on my camera had died so I brought them home to photograph and set them up temporarily. They will be released tomorrow.

sorry, but I can't figure out how to make the pics appear larger, they are 1200 x 1000 so they should look big.
