White Spots with Shed??

sam_i_am Oct 31, 2004 08:57 PM

This girl just shed today and she now has two white spots, one about the size of a dime, and the other (pictured) about the size of a quarter. Any ideas? She does have scars from the previous owner, but not where the spots are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen a couple of boas like that but have not been proven to do anything yet, I also have a Dumerils boa that has a nice white spot on her, she will be ready to breed this season, I will deffinately keep some offspring to breed back to her and eachother to see if anything happens.

Good luck

Yes, but has it always had that spot or did it just appear? These spots just appeared after her shed.

sometimes during a shed they rub some areas a bit harder then other...slightly damaging the new scales. i am assuming its that...it'll probably go away within the next few sheds.

however, i am waiting for someone to hopefully find and import a pied boa. that would be AWESOME...i would have a blast with that morph.

hope this helped.
