blankdisc Oct 31, 2004 09:13 PM

Can N. Red bellied snakes be kept in groups of 3-4 individuals?? Or just 2-3. Or should they be kept singly?

I kept 2 browns snakes together last winter and they seemed to be fine, i think that as long as you give them adequit room and hideing spots they should be fine, just be ready for the fact that if you keep males and females together you may just get babies not that that is a bad thing

Redbellies can be kept in groups no problem. I guess while eating its good to watch them so they dont both grab a slug, etc and continue eating the other but other than that its fine.
