problems mixing bran and honey for waxworms

ram Oct 31, 2004 09:48 PM

Hello, how do you do it? Do you heat the honey, do you pulverize the bran? I use table bran. How do you know you have it just right? Thanks a lot.

I just lightly glaze the top layer of the bran with honey. It eventually sinks, so you need to make sure you have a thick layer of bran to let the waxworms swim in. They will naturally gravitate towards the honey.
