In a thread with the title "could use some advice
suggestions on veiled chameleon" you commented about having
trouble keeping your chameleon in her corner (and maybe not
under the radiator)....how about putting her cage in a child's
plastic(free-standing...not inflatable) swimming pool with
NO water in it of course? If its deep enough that she can't
climb the walls of the pool and there is nothing else that
she can reach from the cage and there is nothing in
her set-up that extends past the edges of the swimming pool,
it might keep her in the corner.

A little off topic...just in case you don't know...you should
provide a place for your female to lay eggs even if she hasn't
been mated...or you might end up with a female dying of
eggbinging if you miss her "signals" of being ready to lay eggs.

I had written a reply, but am having computer issues, so I lost it. The long & short of it is: Thanks for the advice, I will try the pool idea, (hopefully I can find one in the winter). I also have a large pot for her to lay into, but I can't fit it in the cage, so I need to leave the door open for her (and for her exercise) so she wanders...
Anyway, Thanks again!!
