qtkitty Jun 29, 2003 09:03 PM

i was curious since i have yet to measure how deep the natural pond is out back .. how deep is to deep? and also how deep is deep enough for hibernation ?

Also what should i concider doing to the pond to make it better for turtle habitation or is there anything

it will be a few years before little miss buttercup will get to stay out side full time but i would like to make sure since shes only half dollar size now .. she would be to easy of a tastey morel for some stray animal wondering though

I dont think so after all they are water turtles and they love to swim but just make sure she has a baskin place still and a shaded place to go when it gets hot or if she wants to hide
