New male Albino Arabesque.....

Boa Aficionado Nov 01, 2004 02:24 PM

I was at the show in Chicago a few weeks ago and was looking for a male Arabesque. I saw this animal at the booth of Ted Thompson, had the money but just didn't pull the trigger and buy. I e-mailed Ted the day after the show and purchased the snake. He arrived Thursday and was in deep shed and still looked good. He shed Saturday and OMG....This thing just Glows !!!
This 7-17-04 male Albino Arabesque is from an Arabesque het Albino female bred by an Albino het Stripe male, making him Albino also 50% possible het for stripe (he has a total fusion of dorsal striping with no side pattern)
This picture was from Ted Thompson (I swear...this animal looks better in person and in the sun light...He looks like a cartoon!)
I will get a few shots in a few weeks, he is just settling in and has put down his first meal for me...So I will give him a break for a bit before taking some pix. Thanks for looking...Hope you like.

great animals and a good plan as well. Good luck with them. Where did the sunset come from?

She was produced by Rich Ihle. The father was a a known Super Salmon Hypo and the mother was a Salmon Hypo. I'm banking on her being a Super, but only breeding will tell.

But I can see how someone could say she looks like a Sunset. Actually that's exactly what I was thinking while watching the boa breeding video by Barkers. Call me crazy but a lot of the supers(in the video) looked like they had a very strong Hog Island influence. Great Arabesque Nick. Talk about a trait that has received a lot of attention lately, about time.
