sexing baby beardies

Can you sex baby beardies at all? They probably wouldnt have anal pores that early but could you see hemiphanal bulges at an early stage (2 or 3 months)? Or do I just gotta pick and hope its a male?

You can see what sex they are by having an ultrasound done. They are expensive though.

Yes, you can sex babies pretty accurately at 6 weeks old. It does take some experience. We have sexed enough over the years we are pretty good at it. Hold the dragon in your hand with the head facing away from you. Gently lift the tail so it is bent over. Not enough to hurt the dragon. Look at the area right above the vent between the vent and the end of the tail. Gently roll the dragon's tail side to side. The pressure of the rolling will cause the hemipenal bulges to stand out if it is a male. It takes practice to see the tiny bulges but if you practice you can get it.
